A student at the Illustration Academy just turned me on to this brand new book on Charley Harper. (thanks, Rob!) Oh, man….how excited am I! It’s a gem no doubt. Looks like it isn’t released yet, but it should be this month with AMMO Books.
So, I’m back from the Academy, but I wish was still there this week. It was tough to leave, but I needed to get back home to work on my show. I’ll write about the week soon–I’m hoping to post jpgs (of final art) from as many students as possible, as I know their work will be inspiring for you to see. Man, there was SO much talent and great art energy there! It was an amazing time. More soon.

Ahh! Hi! I miss you at the academy! I will be posting all of my academy work as a clump on Friday. Come check it then:) In the mean time Doug has a pic of Pinocchio. I appreciate everything! I will keep in touch.

Welcome back Jenny! We missed you. It sounds like it was a great week, so glad, can’t wait to see the work you post.
I am a big Charley Harper fan, saw it posted on the Design Sponge blog and went ga-ga.
