These are stunning – I too, am particularly fond of the depth and texture of the top piece. I just love monotype – it frees you up in such unexpected ways.

I love them, especially the top one! Great subtle edges, value, and mark making. The first one reminds alot of what some of Degas' monotypes looked like before he added paint or pastel to them.

I to understand your addiction to printmaking! I have found myself right in the middle of a painting and then getting the urge to do a print. Sooo, I set up on my kitchen floor, soak paper in my sink, and roll it out with a heavy rolling pin I got in the utensil section at target.

I especially am drawn in to the top one.Really has depth, yes? I read once that artists tend to paint/or create repetive images until their sub conscious is done with it.
Don’t you love working in b/w and all the values? I wish I could do some prints too. I wish you were coming to my workshop!

These are really wonderful. So much to discover in them. I love that you have this great attitude about just playing and experimenting and learning. Aren’t workshops the best?!
