Everyone needs a little inspiration for their yoga practice some days. At least, I do. When I lived in the city, it was easy. I went to class 4-5 times a week, but now I live so far from town that it’s pretty much “home practice” for me–which is so much about ‘showing up’. Working at home, it’s so easy to roll out of bed, go for a walk and dive into work. But when I take the time (anywhere from 10 short minutes to 2 ‘ahhh’ hours) my mind is clearer, my heart is more centered and I feel taller, and simply goooood. This morning—just when I needed it—I came across this video. These kids “get it”. Y’all should watch it and go do your yoga!

I do yoga each morning too, although it is usually only 15 minutes. If ic an bend over and do my normal poses at 70 or 80, it will pay off. I do feel more ruhshed when I do it at home, I know what you mean, but yoga class is too far for me too now. I love how Huck usually does downward dog with me!! Always amuses me. Have you tried Nia? I LOVED it, and did it the two years religiously 2x week class when I lived in Portland. Combines modern dance, yoga, pilates – I loved the dance part. I bet you can find it in Taos.

Thank you for posting this wonderful video :-) Is a compelling reminder that change doesn’t have to come in BIG ways. These kids are changing their experience one breath at a time. A good lesson for all of us. Enjoy your yoga today!
