Hi Jennifer — how sweet the kids liked my map! :) If they are painting it themselves, I think it’s great. I would LOVE if you can send me photos of your students painting it, their process, and the finish to share on my blog. Sounds like a big project and fun! How big are they painting it?

Hi,
I was curious how you would feel about using your world map as a large school mural. I am an elementary art teacher in Kissimmee, FL and we stumbled upon your art one day in class. The kids LOVED it and asked if we could use it for the next mural. I explained to them about copyright and figured it wouldn’t hurt to e-mail and ask you how you would feel about it. I see that you have the map for sale, however, the students really want to paint it themselves, and our “arts” budget is really lacking. Thank you so much for your time and response.

We got our Art last night…and My son LOVED it!!! we will be hanging it this weekend, I will surely get some pictures to you… ONCE again, THANK YOU for all that you do!! and if this world map ever gets to be a tad smaller.. like maybe a 23×38 or so, please PLEASE let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT ALL!!!!!!! I wish I had more walls!!!! you are a true inspiration, thank you for all of your work and dedication!!! we spoke over the phone a week or so ago, I ordered the “Exploring the World form A to Z” mural. I know I will love it, when I get it!! I just wish this map was available in a smaller sive to fit my remaining wall…

hey Anne, thanks! so glad you like it. well, this map is a digital reproduction on canvas. the original was compiled digitally as a photoshop file. i made each “piece” kinda big…6x8inches, yes with wonder under used liked a glue stick in collaging, then free machine stitching, then scanning and playing in photoshop. gotta love that wonder under!
