I have been missing the blog-o-sphere with all of its wonder and post-ness for quite some time now. This will be a great way for me to post until the 25th when I will be FINISHED with the book! Your post reminded of some memories that made me smile. Thanks!

That was such a charming list! I loved the Smurfs too, and playing in boxes as well. My dad even would cut out windows in the box to make it a little house for me :)

The crawdaddies are hilarious, and kind of grody!! hee hee

Aw, this is so funny and so cute! I love the picture of you inside the box, why it’s the same little girl on the cover of ‘my travelling eye’! and all those other childhood memories, makes me remember mine…yes, do keep adding to the list.
