I too just returned home (from 10 days in Spain) and found a happy little package from Amazon on my doorstep…

My Travellin’ Eye is FABULOUS!!!!!
I opened it this morning and read it through once, but am looking forward to tea time this afternoon, when I will enjoy at leisure all the wonderful surprises on each page. A published author! Congrats! It is truly visual magic (and as a bonus, the writing is great too).

Jen, so sorry to have missed you. I tried to send an e-mail at work and e-mail crashed as I hit send, so I suspect the message never got through on Monday. Jonah had a m*****f***** scout event that collided with the book party, but even that wasn't enough--he had to get an ear infection and then have his eardrum rupture to cancel out all plans. It was grim.

So we missed all the fun, all the book stuff, and you. But we have had a lovely time with antibiotics and being up at all hours of the night.

Glad you had a great time. Glad you're home and happy. Hope the books a smashing success.

Hmmm..

Yes, it is good to be back home and it is good to have you back in the blog too. Now, that I am seeing all these places through my own eyes ,your adoration of your place makes a very clear sense to me. I have just fallen in love with this place.Still a lot to explore and feels like engulfing all of the beauties, but too tired to do it all at once.

And what to say about OSO and ladoo, they are to make my stay even more memorable.

Beautiful photos. Even though they are of a completely different terrain than where I am from, it really made me miss the north. Strange how thing like that happen.
I have been slowly making my way back to life and should be in the full motion of things soon. I look forward to your post about the trip and thank you for the comments about my book! They always keep me going

It is so nice to go on trips and have adventures, but you are right-there is no place like home! And being away from it makes you appreciate it all the more once you come back. I am so glad you are back to blogging. I have missed your posts!
My husband keeps trying to tell me that our little house is too small for yet another dog, but…. ;)

ahh, yes! miss sweet little round Laadoo! she is oso’s girlfriend who has been staying with us for awhile! we wish we could keep her, but long-term, our house is just too tiny for 2 dogs. hopefully she’ll find a good home (nearby)!
