Miss Tulsi Lila Grace Shaw

i want to let you know we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world!
Tulsi Lila (Leela) Grace Shaw was born on the full moon, thursday, april 9th, at 12:52 am at the midwifery center in taos. she weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces and is doing amazing. she had a rough first day and wiill be in the NICU in albuquerque until friday due to meconium aspiration pneumonia, BUT, know she is doing outstanding and will be just fine. she’s a tough little bird!!! (and did i say ULTRA beautiful??) btw, we are doing well, too, (now). we have been in each present moment (from the start of labor til now) and nowhere else. we are so so blessed and so happy. i’ll post a photo, update and more of the story in a week or so. much love and thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, jenny

Oh jenny, i read that with a sigh of relief. And i could feel your sigh of relief in those words. I read that with happiness and i could feel your happiness even more. wow, you did it… amaging!!!! your world is going to be so different now onwards and yet more beautiful in ways you may not have imagined but had anticipated.
i am happy for both of you and my little sis. can’t wait to see her. Oh so incredible, so unbelievable my sis’ gotta a baby now.

Oh and Tulsi, or basil, that’s a cute name and carries so many deep meanings.

Congrats to you and Patrick! I saw that bright, beautiful full moon and was hoping that would be the night:) I’m so glad you are all doing okay and best wishes on a speedy recovery and homecoming for Miss Tulsi!

Jenny! I just got back into town and read your wonderful news. Welcome Tulsi! I can’t wait to hear more about your precious daughter. It sounds like you are all in wonderful healing hands and happy to hear she will be home soon. Big hugs all around.

OH JENNY I am So Happy that little one is finally here! I just told Lola she has a new little friend now!Lo had a rough start too and she’s just fine…Coming into this world is such hard work… Congratulations! We are so happy for you. What a lovely Easter/Spring gift to the world. :)

!!!Congrats Jenny and Patrick!!! Just heard the news, we’re all so happy for you. Don’t worry about the NICU. Rachel was in her little box for 2 weeks and as you know she’s just fine now. Can’t wait to see the picture.
