Hello! I’m that friend of Pete Whitehead’s who got in touch with you sometime ago. Once in a while I check in on your site and blog. Seems I couldn’t get to your personal paintings (which I LOVE) today.
I have a dear friend who is in the thick of it with babies and children and making art. I just wanted to say to you (as I do to her) that while the production may slow, it won’t go away. And, it isn’t forever. I’m sure you know this but it can be easy to feel alarmed by doing less. It is only for a short while. You are such an inspiration to me. I adore your work. Thank you.
hi Caroline, it’s nice to hear from you again. just wanted to say thanks for your sweet and thoughtful words. i appreciate it. this time is so so precious to me, so i’m trying to not feel low about my art, but gentle with myself. i’m doing what i can when i can and enjoying it fully and not quantifying it. this time i know is already going so fast… i hope you are well. btw, i just discovered your site and art! i only had a few minutes but will return. i just LOVE “night climbing 1″, so inspiring. it will be awesome to get to some personal work when i do!
