hi Katrina, thanks for your note! oh, the winter harvesting is AWESOME!! we’ve been eating lightly steamed MOUNTAINS of greens every day now, and i feel SO good. patrick and i saw these geodome greenhouses on our honeymoon 6 1/2 years ago. EVERY year, we visited the company on a anniversary roadtrip, and fantasized about owning one, but they are waaaaay over our budget. but last year when we visited when sharing our dream once again with the ‘show-dome’ lady, she said, “OH! there is a 2 yr old one on consignment!” long story, but we made an offer and they accepted! so you’ll get one. i hope it happens soon for you. and yes, we live in northern NM, 13 miles from the CO border near Taos. if you make it out for a visit, let us know.

Hi there! I saw your interview on Progressive Pioneer and came over here to take a look. Love the blog. And I’m so jealous of your winter harvesting! I hope someday when we own our own house we’ll be able to do this too. Do you live in NM? My parents live in Los Alamos.

The two juxtaposed pictures create this magic feeling… having and eating your onw greens in this cold season! I’d love to ^^ I’m just growing sprouts (alfalfa, roquette, sesame mainly) but I’d love the leafy plants too ;)

hi Ailin! it’s so nice to hear from you. i had a nice long visit on you blog tonight — YOU are so inspiring to me, too! thank you for reminding me to let go and play in art and not care what the outcome is. I know the joy is in the process and your free spirit is so energizing. seems like we have a LOT in common: love of making art, making+drinking masala chai, growing our own food, and life. if you ever come to the US, please come visit us in New Mexico. where do you live?
