Just posted another masala chai recipe over at chai pilgrimage. Perfect timing for the Fall/Winter weather. It’s Patrick’s spicy goat milk concoction inspired by his original chai guru’s chai. It’s extra special. He’s even been making me my own “chai-less” batch (everything but the caffeine for me and Baby). You can download and print the card to add to your recipes — just click on the recipe to see Big. YUM!

So pretty. I’d like a whole veggie recipe book designed by you. :)

Ooh, I can’t wait to try this recipe! I was just about to start playing with adding some more spices to your other chai recipe, so now I’ll just try this.
And I agree with the previous comment…you should do a recipe book.

Oh boy that sounds delicious, I like the breathe and smile part:) The view in the previous post is so dreamy, is that what you see in you yard?!

I love the recipe and recipe design ^^ But, unless I read it too fast I don’t see caffeine in it Anyway, even though I don’t drink milk (only veggie milks, I’m crazy about almond ones) I think I’ll try.
And thanks Jenny for your visits and comments, it’s always a pleasure :)

glad you like the recipe card! it sounds like fun to do a recipe book…hmmmm.
and Sabbio–yes, it calls for black tea (3 choices). you listed at the top with the ingredients. you add it the same time as the milk in this recipe. as for veggie milks—i often make chai with soy or rice or almond milk. we are working on a recipe now for non-caffeine drinkers which features rooibos tea and a non dairy milk. so check back! and thanks for all your comments, too!!

Oh, good, I’m definitely looking forward to your non-caffeine, non-dairy recipe with rooibos tea. Perfect for me. And then I can have chai at night too:)

Hey Jenny! I’m glad you digg the family portrait! I think it is about 11×11, done in ink and digital. It was so much fun to work one, once I stopped being so serious about getting it to look like a typical portrait, haha. Take care, tell your future little one I said hi, if he/she can hear, hehe.

Thanks Jenny for the information! I don’t drink tea except for rooibos (I found a cinnamon rooibos which is excellent) and herbal teas because I’m still breastfeeding my second little one ^^ So well I’m looking forward your “almond milk-rooibos-chai” ;D

I’m working on the rooibos chai recipe…presently drinking a batch of it–yum!–but still want to play with proportions. Soon though! Sabbio, the cinnamon rooibos sounds great. although i don’t have that one, i do add a cinnamon stick to mine. it’s so good together.
and Swatts–your family portrait is inspiring me to do one of us with our baby-to-be. hee. wonder what form it’ll take! maybe it’ll have wings and fins!

Nice design. I’m looking for some inspiration of my own.
