Jenny, i can’t keep my eyes off of her. I tell you, honestly never seen such a beautiful baby… never… And i am sooo glad i can call her my sister. Thank you for this gift. Thank you for giving my life yet another wonderful person…. I love you tulsi….hope you know that….
And Jenny, you take all these great pictures of her… this one my new desktop background until you come up with another….
Oh and this particular full moon is a special one back home. We celebrate this full moon as a festival called ” Rakshya Bandhan”. It’s basically the day where we get a sacred band of threads tied around on our wrist from our parents or a priest and they wish you “rakshya” meaning protection from all kinds of bad things. Do tie a band or anything around Tulsi’s wrist( the left one) for me and wish her the “rakshya”.
Surya, your comments are too sweet and no doubt those of a loving big brother! thanks for sharing about “Rakshya Bandhan” since i’ve never been in Nepal on that celebration. we tied a ribbon around Tulsi’s left wrist and wished her “rakshya” from you and us. xoxo, jenny
These last two pics of her are especially stunning! I wish we could share some of your chai and chat away the mommy moments. I check in on you here often. It’s been a joy to follow a bit of your journey. You have such a precious gift I lovely Tulsi.
ha…i would bet that she’d say yes if she was aware it was YOU who made her flying dancing horses and her angel that twirls above her. those are her most happy ‘things’ in our house. :)
