soul food.

Just wanted to share a few moments (& patterns) from my hike today! Ah, pine needle floors, whispering waters, fuzzywuzzy rocks and pinkledgeshrooms. Does it get much better? And this was carved into an aspen:

Knowing way too little Spanish I thought it meant green light, which would have been a beautiful and appropriate name for the shimmering aspen grove. It turns out verdad is truth (verde is green).

Light Truth. Mmmm. Tis perfect mantra for the mountains indeed. Lately my mantra has been ‘Breathe’. (oh boy do I need that reminder sometimes!)…Maybe on my retreat I’ll switch off between breath green light and breath light truth… What’s your mantra these days?

Funny your “luz verdad” ^^ Anyway my mantra would be “believe in yourself and be positive”

“Luz” can be a womans name, too (abbreviation from “Luz Maria”, verdad is “truth”.
